Marking Life Transitions

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Alternative Ceremonies.

Perhaps you are planning on getting married, celebrating the joyful arrival of your baby, or grieving the loss of your loved one and needing to organise a funeral? Whatever the occasion, I am here to help you mark and honour that life transition.

My name is Claire Hannah Marcus and I am an ordained Interfaith Minister (tell me more), and Spiritual Life Counsellor and Therapeutic Counsellor.  Whatever your beliefs – be they spiritual, religious or non-religious, I am here to offer you guidance, inspiration and support in creating and delivering a beautiful tailor-made ceremony or service designed to celebrate and mark your important life events.

These include:

        Baby Blessing and Naming Ceremonies
●        House Blessings
●        Weddings/Relationship Blessings/Vow Renewals
●        Funerals/Memorial Services
●        Healing Ceremonies
●        Blessing Ceremonies

Feel free to enquire about other types of ceremony not listed here.

I would love the opportunity to work with you to create a ceremony which truly reflects your heartfelt needs and is personal and unique to you and your loved ones.  The ceremony we create together can be enriched with readings, music, poems, prayers, meditations and anything else that is meaningful to you.  Friends and family members may be invited to make contributions and the ceremonies can be at a place of your choosing.

I also offer:

*  Counselling with openness to the spiritual dimension
*  Facilitation of spiritual groups
*  Workshops and inspirational talks
*  Singing circles and meditation for children

If you would like to talk about working with me, please do get in touch (see Contact section).

Blessings,

Rev. Claire Hannah Marcus
